Arthur is referred to as a cousin of Mary Ann Collins and so I have attempted to chase his family in order to determine their common grandparents. This is looking like it is likely on the Ballard side of the family because his father's parents were clearly from England and at the time of his mother's death, one of her cousin's is invited to the funeral in the local newspaper.

There is also the question as to could it be Arthur's wife, Delia who is the cousin. With her fathers name being Joseph Collins it could be possible that the family connection is via Delia, as Mary Ann's fathers name is also Joseph Collins.
