Arthur's obituary reads, "Arthur C. Frane, 68, of 723 Cortland Ave. died at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parkview Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient two weeks. Mr. Frane, a lifelong resident of the Fort Wayne area, retired in 1975 from the Masolite Corp. after 23 years. Surviving are a son, Thomas of Fort Wayne; a brother, Leslie of Fort Wayne; and four sisters, Mrs. Esther Castleman and Mrs. Eddie Sorg, both of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Beatrice Trausch of Edon, Ohio, and Mrs. Lucille Messman of Woodburn. Services will be at 9:40 a.m. Saturday in C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery."
