Obituary

Day Arlyn Hurst Day, age 76, peacefully passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Columbus Colony Elderly Care where he resided. He was born March 7, 1937 in Blue Creek Ohio. He was a beloved brother, uncle and friend to many. Member of the Harlem Road United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother Edith Day, father Leonard E. Day Sr., brothers J.M. Day and Leonard E. (Skip) Day. Survived by his sisters, Nancy (Hubert) Pinney and Tahna (Larry) Pasqua; sisters-in-law, Geneva (JM) Day and Barbara (Skip) Day; and numerous nieces, nephews and a very special friend Frannie Berman. He retired from the Big Walnut School system. Friends may call at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville on Tuesday, August 6 at 11 a.m. Celebration of Life service at 12Noon Tuesday with interment at Otterbein Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to American Heart Assn.
