Pulaski Democrat, 13 Nov 1974: ARCHIE HILTON OF ORWELL DIES Archie A. Hilton, 80, of Orwell passed away Thursday, November 7 after a long illness at a Rome area hospital. Mr. Hilton was born in Orwell on April 22, 1894, the son of Alonzo and Julia Coon Hilton. He attended school there and was a farmer in Orwell until illness forced him to retire. Surviving are one son, Edward of Fulton; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Edna) Oswick of York, Penna.; six grandchildren... one brother, Arthur of Orwell and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held... on Monday, November 11 at the Orwell Union Church with the Rev. Ivan Greenfield, pastor, officiating. Burial was held in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Funeral arrangements were made by Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, Pulaski. ,
