Anton was married twice. His first marriage was to Antonia Bannach, daughter of John and Maria (Klimek) Bannach. He had three children (John, Clara, and Frank) from this marriage.

His second marriage was to Clara/Klara Pikulik. Twelve children were from this marriage; Mary, Margaret, Lucy, Joseph, Annie, Rose, Katherine, Agnes, Leo, Phillip, Leonard (died young) and Celia.


Both marriages were held at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church in Millerville, Douglas County, Minnesota.
