In 1694 she was married again to Anthony Askew, MD, of Kendal, and by him she had at least three children, viz.:— (a) Adam Askew, MD, of Newcastle-on-Tyne. (b) Anthony Askew of Wakefield, who died before his father, leaving issue:— /(1) Anthony Askew, a minor in 1739, named in the will of his grandfather, Dr. Askew of Kendal. / (2 and 3) Two daughters, also minors in 1739. Dorothy,* the daughter of Robert Hopkinson the elder, was married to Anthony Askew of Wakefield, M.D., son of Anthony Askew of Kirkby Kendal. They had a son also named Anthony, and a daughter named Mary. The Doctor made his Will dated the 25th October 1727, which Robert Hopkinson proved at York on the 2nd April 1736. * "1787. H.Q. June.
