!Anthony migrated from England, being of the English Catholic Arnolds. He came from Yorkshire, England to New Kent, Virginia in 1657 and was in Maryland by 1670. He settled in Ann Arundel County, Maryland.

!Anthony married one Johannah, as shown in his will dataed Jan. 12, 1689, in Ann Arundel Co., MD. The will gives the names of the following children: John, Anthony, Thomas, Hester LIttle, and Rachel Arnold, and another son William who was born after the will was written and possibly after Anthony died. His will was sealed and declared the tenth of Mar. 1689. Testamentary Proceedings dated Sept. 9, 1696 shows that the widow Johannah married one Charles Harrison after Anthony's death.
