!He grew up in Ann Arundel Co., MD. Anthony started out to purchase land in Ann Arundel Co. and through a faulty title on Grimes Addition, he ended up with Walnut Ridge in Baltimore Co. Oct. 29, 1720. His will was written in Baltimore Co. as of July 20, 1721.

!The will was proved on Oct. 8 1721. Sarah Arnold, the widow, had married as her second husband Chalres Wells by the time the estate was administered June 3, 1726.
