Walker, Anson age 31, enlisted May 7, 1861 at Martinsburg, New York. He mustered in on May 17, 1861 as a Pvt, Company I, 14th Inf., "First Oneida County Regiment" New York Volunteers, to serve for two years He mustered out with Company I on May 24, 1863 at Utica, New York. His record shows he enlisted with his brother Henry Walker.
