Annie Mae Smith Howell,

Services for Annie Mae Smith Howell, 80, will be 3:00 PM Saturday, July 10, 2004, at the North chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Brother Ron Rogers, Brother Jerry Jacobs and Brother Randy Latch officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Howell was born into Eternal Life on July 7, 2004.

She was born in Jackson, TN on September 8, 1923, daughter of the late B.C. (Coke) Rogers and Mae McCord Rogers, and graduated from Jackson High School. She was a member of the local chapter of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Howell was an active member of North Jackson Baptist Church and was in the Silvertone Choir.

She is survived by three children, Frances Hearn and her husband, Bill, of Jackson, TN; June Dorris of Oakfield, TN and Mickey (Robert) Smith and his wife, Kim of Reno, NV; two brothers, Dr. Carl Rogers and his wife, May of Shelbyville, TN and Dr. Ronald Rogers and his wife, Doris, of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Wilma Daniel and Betty Wise both of Jackson, TN.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Rogers and Billy Rogers.

She also leaves six grandchildren, Robert Burgoon and Marie of Gardnerville, NV, Kelli Kristian of Oakfield, TN, Jason Hearn of Jackson, TN, Shane Smith of Reno, NV, Misty (Melissa) Smith of Tacoma, WA, and Brandon Lawson of Oakfield, TN; and eight great grandchildren, Ryan Burgoon, Jessica Burgoon, and Toni Burgoon of Garnerville, NV, Jodi, Codi, ad Cristina Kristian of Las Vegas, NV and Tiana and Jaden Anderson both of Tacoma, WA.

Casketbearers to serve are Mickey Smith, Kelli Kristian, Brandon Lawson, Jason Hearn, Tim Rogers and Paul Jones.

The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons today from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
