- ↑ "Alliance -- Mrs. Annie Maude Powell, 66, died early today at the home ofher brother, Ralph Powell at Sevakeen lake. A native of Louisville, shehad spent most of her life in Marlboro until five years ago when shemoved to Alliance. She had spent the winter in Florida. She was amember of the Methodist Church at Marlboro. Surviving are four sisters,Mrs. W. S. Westwood and Miss Lucy Powell of Alliance, Mrs. RobertPennock of Buffalo and Mrs. S. H. Hummel of Wellington, and threebrothers, Ralph Powell and whose home she died, George R. of Allianceand John of Butte, Montana. Private services will be Wednesday at 10 AMin the Ralph Powell home in charge of Rev. B. H. Shaddock of theMethodist Church at Damascus. Burial will be in union Cemetery,Louisville. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 9 at the home."

Shaddock of the DamascusMethodist Church officiated, with burial at Louisville. A daughter ofthe late Mr. and Mrs. George Powell, she had lived most of her life inthe Marlboro vicinity and had been two months before her death Monday.Also surviving are for sisters, Mrs. Rob Pennock of Buffalo, Mrs. S. H.Hummel of Wellington and Miss Lucy Powell of Alliance, and two otherbrothers, G. R. Powell Of Alliance and John of Butte, Montana.
