Will
- Will dated 1790 in Orange County, VA. as Bollin; Ann's will names son Thornberry & daughter Sara, both of whom apparently had no heirs at that time; according to Joyce Poole they may have lived with and cared for their mother.

- p. 30 (pp. 216-217) Will of Ann Bollin. .. To my son, Thornberry Bollin and my daughter, Sarah Bollin .. Appoint my son, Thornberry Bollin, executor .. This 20th day of February 1790.

- Anthony Garton, Reuben Garton
- At a court held Monday 28th June 1790 .. Presented.. Thomas Bell, security .. Bond in the penalty of one hundred pounds.

- The Petition of Ann Boling humbly sheweth that she had three sons in the Minute and Regular Service in which service they all became sick, two of them about five months, the other about three weeks and died at her house. The two which recovered is now in the Regular Serice. Your petitioner being in low circumstances and has suffered with nursing and paying docters more then she can well bare prays some relief and your petitioner shall pray &c
- Orange County, John Boling & Joseph Bell made oath before me this day that Thornsberry Boling in the Regular Service, William & Jesse Boling in the Minute Service all came to their mother, Ann Boling some time as near as they can recollect October 1776 Jesse Boling lived about three weeks and died. The other two was very unwell all the winter and to both their knowledge was very troublesome and expensive to the mother who is a Poor Woman. Certified under my hand this 17 Oct 1777. Rowland Thomas
