I am currently writing a book on the families of two villages Rahling and Schmittviller which are located in the Lorraine region in France
FYI John KLEIN was not born in Metz but in Rahling .The birth date Feb13,1821 is correct.
Anne Marie DANNENHOFFER did not come from Holland..She was born on Aug 18,1819 also in Rahling .Her parents were Pierre (Peter) DANNENHOFFER (1773-1838) and Anne FREISS or FREISZ (1785-1852).
Anne FREISS was the sister of my ancestor Jean Nicolas FREISS
