AnnaBell (Crumrine)Jensen, 94, of Bayview, Washington, passed away peacefully January 5th , 2017 surrounded by her loved ones.
AnnaBell was born in Bayview, Washington to Roy and Annie (Nelson)Crumrine on July 22, 1922. She attended a one room elementary school located in Bayview. She attended Burlington Edison High School and graduated in 1939.
She worked as a secretary for the highschool and later as a teller at SeaFirst Bank in Burlington, Washington.
On June 13th, 1947 AnnaBell married Elmer L. Jensen on her family homestead.
She was an active member of the Allen United Methodist Church and choir for more than 50 years. She was also a member of the Children's Orthopedic Guild for many years.
AnnaBell was happiest when surrounded by her family. She loved gardening, camping trips to Conconully with the grand children, family dinners, and tea parties. AnnaBell had an amazing way of remembering everyones birthday. From immediate family members, extended family, and friends. She always sent a card. One of her favorite times was in March when "her" hummingbirds came back to their feeder for the spring and summer months. There are many fond memories of painting rocks and baking spritz at Christmas time.
AnnaBell was proceeded in death by her sisters, Marie Eileen, Lois and her brother Curt. She was also proceeded in death by her husband Elmer L. Jensen.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children. Her son Michael Jensen and his wife Catherine, daughter, Linda (Jensen)Mitcham an her husband Craig, grand children Sandra (Jensen) Smith and her husband Edward, Shelly (Jensen) Gwin and her husband Jason, Annie(Jensen) Drake and her husband Darron, Jeff Mitcham and his wife Anita and Jenni Mitcham Belisle and her husband Dave. Great-grand children Rachel Drake, Karris Drake, Malorie Drake, Jacob Gwin, Katy Gwin, AnnaBell Belisle, Janessa Belisle, Chandler Mitcham and Kyla Mitcham.
Memorials can be given to Allen United Methodist Church, 16775 Allen West Road, Bow, Washington, 98232.
The family of AnnaBell (Crumrine) Jensen wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Mountain Glen Assisted Living and the staff of Island hospital.
Funeral services to be held Friday January 13th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m at the Allen United Methodist Church.
A private burial will be held prior to the funeral services at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.
