The 1900 Steger Census lists her husband, and four children living on Love (sp) Avenue. It states that they had been married for 11 years and had four children.

The 1910 Census lists her as a widow, living with four children on 30th Place in Steger. It also lists her parent's birthplace as Ireland.

Also raised Walter and Anna Burke Newquist's daughter after Anna's death in 1920. This child, whose name is unknown, probably died before 1926,

The 1920 Steger Census has Anna living in the same location with two of her children, Leo and Floyd, who work in the piano factory (Steger and Sons). Ywo families named Anderson live at the same address.
