"Jeremiah Fitzgerald md. Anna Menges 2 Feb 1776 in the (German) Reformed  Church at Montgomery, Ulster/Orange Co NY.  They had 5 childen bpt Montgomery NY Reformed Church:  Elizabeth bpt.11 Aug 1776 b.14 July 1776 (sic)  William bpt 28 Nov 1778  Susanna bpt 3 June 1781  David bpt 15 Feb 1784  Jeremiah b. 4 July 1789 

Jeremiah Fitzgerald and wife Anna are buried in Thorn Hill Cem. in Marcell us, Onondaga Co NY. [first found this in Rev. Soldiers bur in Ononda ga Co NY-now on web under county] In memory of Jeremiah Fitzgerald di ed 25 Sept 1816 Aged 65 yrs. [1751] Mrs. Anna wife of Jeremiah Fitzgera ld died 15 Aug 1834 Age 85 [1749]. There is a will in Onondaga Co. ma de 20 Aug 1810 and probated 1817 that mentions wife Anna; sons William, Da vid, John and Jeremiah. daugs. Elizabeth, wife of Warren Kneeland and Susa nna grandchildren Jane & James Kneeland. A Jeremiah Fitzgerald and a Jerem iah Fitzgerald Jun'r signed the Articles of Association in 1775 from Hanov er (later Montgomery) Ulster Co NY. At least one Jeremiah Fitzgerald w as in Revolution and was a military prisoner in New Windsor October 13,177 7. [confined with others for plundering leather from house of Theopolius C arvin -"Public Papers of George Clinton -Vol. II p.429]." But see recor ds of Curtis LeRoy providing for a marriage date of February 27, 1776.
