Anna raised her family in Keewatin but went back to Duluth to give birth to her three daughters. She sold the cabin on Swan Lake in ca. 1956 to a doctor who let it fall into disrepair. In ca. 1989, it was bought by a young couple, Richard and ? Martire, who lovingly restored as much of the original rockwork as possible. The cabin had to be rebuilt, but Richard was able to preserve its rockwork fireplace and chimney.
