    Polly Anne's parents were Col. James Hayes Blair (1761–1839 and Mary Elizabeth Powell (1765–1839). Her parents were married in 1782 in Burke Co, NC.

    She married at least twice:

    1st m. on 10/20/1808 in Anderson, Anderson District (later Anderson County after 1867), SC. to Joseph Terrell (1788–1812).

    2nd m. on 11/21/1813 in Franklin, Georgia to Allen Oliver Elston (1782–1868. (Franklin was settled in 1770, and was designated seat of the newly formed Heard County in 1831.)
