Ann White’s origins have yet to be established. The age given when she died suggests that she was born around 1739.

Ann’s first confirmed sighting is on 6th October 1763, when she married Stephen Miles at Broadway in Worcestershire. She was already heavily pregnant when they married, as their first son was baptised just a couple of months after their marriage.

Ann and Stephen had nine children baptised at Broadway between 1763 and 1781, although one died when just a few months old.

Ann died in 1790, when she was said to be 51 years old. She was buried at Broadway on 8th October 1790. Stephen survived her by nearly twelve years.
