She was born seven months after her father died. Her mother married (2) Angell Jacobus in Middlesex County in 1694. Angell Jacobus and wife Ann deed 342 acres of land (previously acquired in two parcels by Claud Vallott and, later, his widow Ann Vallott) to her and her sister Catherine in 1695. All of her children were born in Middlesex County. She moved with her family to Orange County, VA (later Culpeper, now Madison) in 1737.
