    QUAY 3 "Miss Ann McDonald, one of the pioneers of the Township of Mara, died at the residence of her nephew, Mr. P. G. McDonald, on Saturday[November, 23], at the age of ninety-three. Miss McDonald was a native of Glengarry and was a daughter of Lieut. Alex. McDonald, who served at Waterloo...Since the death of her brother, Mr. Alex. P. McDonald, father of Mr. P. G. McDonald, she has resided with the latter. Internment took place in the family plot at St. Columbkills cemetery, Uptergrove, on Monday..."
