Ann Ingram was baptised on 1st December 1743 at Grantham in Lincolnshire, daughter of Margaret Ingram, formerly Stevens, and her husband Joseph Ingram, a miller. The family lived at Manthorpe, a hamlet to the north of the town. Sadly Ann died when she was only seven years old, being buried at Great Gonerby on 13th August 1751.
