Ann Ingram was baptised on 4th June 1734 at Grantham in Lincolnshire, daughter of Margaret Ingram, formerly Stevens, and her husband Joseph Ingram, a miller. The family lived at Manthorpe, a hamlet to the north of the town. Sadly Ann died when she was only nine years old, being buried at Great Gonerby, just west of Manthorpe, on 27th July 1743.
