Ann Cox was baptised on Christmas Day 1830 at Barnack in Northamptonshire, daughter of a dressmaker called Catherine Cox, formerly Mason, and her husband William Cox, a blacksmith and farmer. Ann was their third child. Sadly, Ann died when she was only one year old, being buried at Barnack on 2nd July 1832.
