Mrs. Anita Crumrine Gill, long time resident of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died April 7, 2013, in Fernandina Beach, Fla., after suffering complications due to a fall. Anita was born to Ada Robertson Crumrine and Burton Eugene Crumrine in Morgantown, W.Va.
Anita owned and operated a toy store during the mid-1950's, in Jacksonville, Fla., where she met and married a young Air Force doctor/intern, Frank Edwards Gill. After Anita's husband returned from Vietnam they were stationed in Germany where the two developed their love of travel and, in their younger years, traveled extensively throughout Europe. Anita loved the beach, sailing, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mary Ester, Fla.
She is survived by her sister, April Elisabeth Crumrine-Jones of Jacksonville, Fla.; and brother, George Bernard Crumrine and his wife, Sharon Sikes Crumrine, of Fernandina Beach, Fla.
She is predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Dr. Frank Edwards Gill; and siblings, James Crumrine of New York, N.Y., Burton Eugene Crumrine, Jr. of Media, Pa., and Mary Louise Crumrine-Wall of Salisbury, Md.
A graveside service will be held at Jesse Rogers Cemetery on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. with celebrant Rev. Paul T. White. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home.
