Andrew Brent Watson, 88, of Mt. Croghan, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003. A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28 from Elizabeth Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Born in Mt. Croghan, Mr. Watson was a son of the late Jule Brent and Fannie Mae Watts Watson. He was a retired farmer and former substitute rural mail carrier. He was a member of Long Pine United Methodist Church and was married to the late Edith Burch Watson of 67 years. Surviving are a son, William B. (Barbara) Watson of Chesterfield; a granddaughter, Amanda W. (Keith) McGee of Lancaster; a grandson, Stephen B. Watson of Chesterfield; and a great-grandson, Ryan McGee of Lancaster.He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Mae Watson.
