Birth? Est 1880
Marriage Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United Statesto Marcella Kisiel

Andrew Solobroski (or Sodroski) was born about 1880. Sometime between 1906 and 1910 he married Marcella Kisiel, the widow of Anthony Przetacznik. In 1910 they were living in Detroit, Michigan with Marcella's daughter Clara Przetaczik and several boarders. This included three men in their 20s and one woman age 70, all of whom had different last names. Marcella and the boarders were all born in Poland, so likely Andrew was too.

  1.   U.S. Census
    1910.

The Census lists Andrew Solobroski, age 30, as head of household. The household included his wife "Celia," age 27, her daughter Clara Przetacznik, age 5, and the four other people. The latter's birthplaces are listed as "Austria." (Probably Poland, as Poland had been partitioned between Prussia, Russia, and Austria in 1795 and did not exist as a nation for the next 123 years.)

  2.   Death certificate for Anthony Przetacznik, in Michigan Death Records, 1897-1920, on Seeking Michigan website
    17 Feb 1906.

Andrew's marriage to Marcella must have occurred sometime between the death of her first husband Anthony and the time of the 1910 U.S. Census.

  3.   Death certificate for Marcela Sodroski, in Francis Zundel's private papers after his death
    1924.

The variant spelling of Andrew's last name is found on Marcella's death certificate.
