Came from the lowlands of Ireland along with 6 or 7 brothers, one being Lafayette. They landed at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Two brothers went to Texas and one of these is reported to have settled around Pilot Point, southeast of Gainesville. One went to Indiana, supposedly Lafayette. Andrew went to Illinois.
