Served 3 years. Captured Nov 20, 1863. Held prisioner at Castle Thunder, Libby and Andersonville. Source Bill Dudte "He served with Indiana troops in the civil war and spent about 4 yeatrs as a prisioner in Castle Thunder, Libby and Andersonville prisions and survived them".
