From "The Descendants and Ancestors of Israel and Malissa Wilson" by Shawn P. Sweeney:
"Not much is known of Andrew. He received his share of his parents estate in 1742 in the form of 185 acres adjacent to his brother John. In 1760, he bought some cattle and moveable property from Mary Joy. About 1769 or 1770, he moved to the area of Lynch's Creek in what became Darlington County, South Carolina, near Carter's Crossroads. He later received a land grant in the area. His name appears in the 3rd Supplement of the DAR Patriot index, so it looks as if he either fought or supported the cause of the American Revolution in some way. He probably received the land grant from this service. He may have had quite a bit of property in Darlington County. Today, this area is in Lee County He married Elizabeth Sinclair. It is unknown when they married because their known children weren't born until the 1750's making it appear that she was born sometime in the 1720's. She is reputed to have been the daughter of a man named George Sinclair who died in Charleston in 1730. Elizabeth was mentioned as an unmarried legatee. So it appears that she was underage. It is unknown as to when she died. Andrew died on Lynch's Creek in 1787 and may have been buried on what was then his property."
