Court Record, Page 26—6 August, 1723: Adms. to Mehetabell Bacon, widow, and this Court appoint her guardian to her daughters, Esther, age 13 years, and Abigail, age 11 years; and Israhiah Wetmore to be guardian to Joseph Bacon, age 17 years, children of Andrew Bacon deceased.
Page 30—5 October, 1723: John Bacon, a minor, about 15 years of age, son of Andrew Bacon decd., chose Nathaniel Bacon to be his guardian.

Page 63 ( Vol. XI) 4 April, 1732: Nathaniel Bacon exhibited now in this Court a receipt under the hand of John Bacon, bearing date 31 January, 1731-2, by which it appears that John Bacon had received of Nathaniel Bacon, his guardian, all his estate due from sd. guardian, and also discharge him sd. guardian of any further demands from him."
