"Andrew3 (Bacon), b. 21 Nov. 1692; bapt. 27 Nov. 1692; d. 2 July 1731; m. 31 Dec. 1728, Ann Tappin, b. 1 Sept. 1700, d. 17 Feb. 1778, aet. 78, daughter of James and Ann (Ward) Tappin. Administration on Andrew's estate was granted 5 Aug. 1731 to his widow Ann. The will of James Tappin, dated 1 Dec. 1739, proved 3 April 1743, named wife Ann, only child Ann widow of Andrew Bacon Jr. and only grandchild Andrew Bacon [Manwaring's Digest 3:3, 461 f.].
