Notes for ANDREAS VALTIN SCHRETZMANN: Birth/baptismal entry indicates that he was illegitimate ("unehelich"). His name was originally entered as Andreas Valtin Matthein, and later changed to Schretzmann. The entry also contains a marginal note (cannot translate) that is dated January 1848, the month that his parents were finally wedded, and presumably, when the last name was changed to Schretzmann in the entry. Godfather was Andreas Nenninger; witnesses were Stephan Settelmaier and Aloys Molitor (#5 for 1844, p110).

Marriage to Maria Hemberger was witnessed by Peter Hafner and Anton Fertig (#6 1/2 for 1869, p151). Brewer (bierbrauer), per son Albert's death entry.
