An Anastazia Flak, an Austrian, arrived in New York on 20 June 1903 on the ship Ryndam from Rotterdam. She was a servant, and was going to join her cousin Justina Flak, who lived in Passaic, N.J. Her last city of residence is given as Weglowka. Since for a while Galicia was part of Austria, this is most likely the same person.

Justina Flak had arrived aboard the Friedrich der Grosse on 9 April 1902. She was 24, and was going to join her sister in Passaic. Her place of origin is given as Galicia, Poland. Also on the ship was Krystyna Flak.
