    CLIPPING FROM: Fairfield [Iowa] Ledger, 11 Dec 1895, p. 3

    The death of Mrs. Amy Leathers, wife of Josiah Leathers, occurred in this city yesterday, December 10th, at 1 o'clock p.m. in the fifty-fifth year of her age. She was the mother of seven children, the youngest being twelve years old. The family has resided in the county about seven years, three of which were spent in Fairfield. The remains will be interred in the Evergreen cemetery this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
