David and Amy Steenrod Bright's son Amos died 1911 in Foster, Missouri. His death certificate correctly lists her maiden name as Steenrod. The Steenrod family is an early family from Westermoreland County, New York. Cornelius Steenrod brought his family early to Muskingum and Belmont Counties, Ohio. Descendants also settled in Wheeling, West Virginia. I descend from David and Amy (Steenrod) Bright through their daughter Amy Bright who married Edmund Norman. Also, I believe Amy Bright died in Livingston County, Illinois.
