Census 1861 - Amos, Sarah, Hester, Martha, Catherine, Rachel, Ralph, Edwin (Sidney Twp). Census 1880 - Amos, Sarah, Hester, Thomas, Margaret. (Il, Rock Island). Live next to son Hershel and wife. 1840, 1850, 1860 Oswego, NY census, can't find Amos. At age 18 (1842) he moved to Oswego, NY to learn a trade in making carriages. Abt. 1852 he moved back to Belleville area. In 1864 he moved to Moline, Ill.
