Wife acc. to Browning, “Americans of Royal Descent” is Lady Aurelia, dau of Ralph de Waer, Earl of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge, 1066.

This information does not seem to hold up. It seems to confuse dates and names. The Earl of Norfolk and Suffolk (in 1067) was Ralph "the Staller", Amice's great-grandfather. His son and Amice's grandfather was Ralph, Earl of Norfolk and later Seigneur de Gael.
