According to the biographical sketch of William Price Clary in the History of Washington Co., Arkansas, after the death of William's wife Sarah, he married an Amanda Sinclair in 1853. The Giles/Jiles and otherSouthern Families on ancestry.com places this Amanda as William's wife. But that would make William 53 years of age and Amanda 17 years ofage. This is not uncommon, but the other fact is not quite so common.William Price Clary would have been the father of Amanda's step-mother Falby. Not sure that this is the same Amanda.
