This Jackson family was mis-recorded by the enumerator by his continuing ditto marks from the previous Baker family! So the whole Jackson family is indexed as Baker but I will put the correct surnames in this transcription. 1850 Census Adams Twp, Seneca Co., Ohio Frances Baker/Jackson 54 F 5,000. Ohio Marriages, 1803-1900 about Amanda Jackson Name: Hacket, Elmeron Spouse: Jackson, Amanda Marriage Date: 29 Aug 1860 County: Sandusky State: OH According to researcher Todd ____, Amanda and Elmeron's marriage was 'performed by Uncle Joseph Jackson, MG". As Amanda did have an Uncle Joseph who was a minister who would have been both legal and logical to perform this marriage, this fact helps me to agree that the Amanda who married Elmeron was the daughter of Daniel Jackson and Frances Fuller. Doubt was cast by the 1880 census record which says that Amanda's parents were born in Canada. So it looks like another census where someone just guessed at the location. Amanda died before the 1900 census could verify this and to date, no death record has been found.
