LINCOLN ---- Alvis Zepho Laughner, 89, of 503 College St., Lincoln, died at 9:55 p.m. Friday, (April 1, 1983) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, the Rev. Don Galehr officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He was born March 11, 1894, at Flora, a son of Henry and Althea Maxwell Laughner. He married Emma Grace Colwell Dec. 6, 1916, at Springfield. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mary Jane Dunn, Riverton, and Marguerite Overbey and Helen Overbey, both of Lincoln; a sister, Cloriena C. Morris, Bloomington; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Laughner was a retired Logan County farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church, Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to the church.
