Some researchers get him mixed up with another Alonzo Marsh. The other Alonzo Marsh in Texas. However his parents were born in Scotland and Germany. 1910 census gives father as George.

The 1880 and 1900 US census show the other Alonzo living in Spencer County Indiana with wife Edna. In 1910 Alonzo's father "George" lived with the family. The Alonzo shown above is a different Alonzo and did not have a father named George.
