Obituary
- Lewis, Alma Rosalie, born Dec. 26, 1919 in Anaheim, CA, passed away peacefully at home in La Habra, CA., Feb. 1, 2010 at age 90. Alma was a descendant of one of the 1st settlers in Anaheim from Germany. Alma grew up on a farm in Anaheim, which mainly produced oranges and grapefruit (located where Disneyland is built today). Alma was always in the top of her class in school, and was Salutatorian when she graduated. Alma loved to go camping, fishing, and enjoy life and her family. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, bookkeeping and watching "Wheel of Fortune." She is survived by her 3 children, Ronald Crosby, Jeannine Dahncke and Deborah Koch; step-daughter, Norma Thompson; 9 grandkids and 13 great-grandkids. Service was held at Memory Garden in Brea, Ca. - In order to try and solve any confusion for future researchers... yes, both Alma Fischer and Gwen Letterman were both married to Rolla Crosby and Norman Lewis.
- Alma's first marriage was to Rolla Crosby. After having two children together, Ronald & Jeanine, were in their later years divorced, Alma's second marriage was to Norman Lewis. Together with Norman she had another daughter, Debbie.
- Gwen Letterman's first marriage was to Norman Lewis. After having two children together, Ronald & Norma, were in their later years divorced. Gwen's second marriage was to Rolla Kenyon and they had no children together.
