    Allen Breed was born, probably in Westoninge Parish, Bedfordshire, England, in 1599, the son of John and Agnes (Pritchett) Bread of Flittwicke and Westoninge …, and died at Lynn, 17 March 1690/91 (Lynn VR). … The date of Allen Breed's arrival in New England is not known. His name does not appear on any extant passenger list. He was in Lynn before 1638, for on that date he received 200 acres of land in the general distribution of the six-mile grant given to Lynn by the General Court.
