    Alice M. Rohwer, 84, passed away September 8, 2003 at her home in Conrad, Iowa. Services were held September 10, 2003 at the Conrad United Methodist Church with Pastor Sungjoon Park officiating. Honorary casket bearers were Robert Wolfe, Greg Wolfe, Larry Wolfe, Tim Wolfe, and Gary Wolfe. LaDonna Sharp was vocalist and Carol Altenhein was organist. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in the Garwin Cemetery, Garwin, Iowa. Alice was the daughter of Edward and Ethel M. (Arrasmith) Wolfe. Alice was born in Monteith. She later worked at the New Monarch Company in Des Moines, the Boyd Harness Company in Iowa Falls and was a sales clerk at Herman's in Marshalltown. She operated her own restaurant in Garwin. She married George Rohwer in Princeton, MO., on July 21, 1974. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, three brothers, and one granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha and Richard Sweet of Conrad, a sister Olive Olsen of Omaha, Neb., four brothers, Ed and Nieca Wolfe of Hardy Ark., Jack and Vera Wolfe of Lynnwood, WA, Robert Wolfe of Stuart, and Gene Wolfe of Forsyth, MO; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
