She had a copy of John Martin Coup's Naturalization papers. She also had an old letter in German script that her son, Ellsworth, had translated.

Alice Sinclair, Widow of Henry

Mrs. Alice Sinclair, 91, widow of Harry Sinclair, died Thursday in Wayne County Hospital, where she had been 10 months. She was born in Hayworth, Illinois, Nov. 26, 1869, to David and Mary Rhoades Derr and lived in Smithville. She was a member of Smithville Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Kauffman of Wooster RD, and Mrs. Carl (Grace) Young of Loudonville; three sons, Vernon of Smithville, Earl of Wooster, and Roy of Sterling; two sisters, Daisy Derr of Wooster and Mrs. I. N. Winter of Leroy; five grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, an infant daughter, four brothers, and a sister died previously. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the McIntire Funeral Home with her former pastor, Rev. Richard E. Hawkins, and Rev. Jack Hedges officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home Sunday 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in Wooster.
