Alfred Queen - probable son of James Queen of Rutherford Co., NC 1833 - Alfred and Jamison Queen were chainbearers in a survey of land sold to James Queen, apparently in Rutherford Co., NC.[7] 1835 - Alfred Queen listed as a voter in Rutherford Co., NC.[8] also, 12 January 1835, Alfred Queen was among the purchasers of items from the estate of Jacob Michal, deceased, in Rutherford Co., NC, along with Sarah Queen.[9] 1838 - Feb 1838, Rutherford Co. NC, Alfred J. Queen granted 100 acres.[10] 1839 - Burke Co., NC marriage bond for Alfred J. Queen and Martha E.H. Jeffreys, dated 7 Feb. 1839.[11] 1850 - the federal census for Burke Co., NC includes: [12] p. 352 - Solomon Queen, 46M farmer, with wife Sophronia 30F, and 3 children - Moses 10M, Solomon 6 and Tobias 2,. all b. NC; p. 358 - Hamilton Queen, 25M farmer with wife Elizabeth 26F and two children; p. 399 - Alfred Queen 35M b. NC, with wife Martha 35F and 5 children, Mary 11F, Lilly 9F, James 7M, John 6M, and Sarah 3F, all b. NC.
