[theusch family.FTW] [theusches.FTW] Holt Community News by Mrs. Alton Kinney Death Claims Alfred Husband Funeral services were on Wednesday at the Estes-Leadley Holt chapel for Alfred J. (Jack) Husband, 66, who died Sunday at his home on Northeast Delhi street. He had been a resident of Holt for 30 years. He had worked at the Reo since 1924, starting as a musician with the Pioneer radio station WREO at the plan and continued on at the Reo as a machinist following the closing of the station. A veteran of World War I, he served 10 years with the English Army. He is survived by the wife, Dora, a son, William Jr. of Holt, 3 sisters, Mrs. Horace Bennett, Mrs. Norman Jab and Mrs. George Capstick, 2 brothers, Joseph and Charles all of Cornwall, England. Rev. Vernon F. Smiht officiated at services. Burial was in Maple Ridge cemetery. Bearers were John B. Fay, Dallas Langham, Arthur Huver, Gail Reasoner, Irvin Jones and Raymond Young. |
