ALFRED ALLEN FITZPATRICK was born in 1852 in Giles County, Tennessee. He later lived between Elkmont and Pulaski, Tennessee.

Alfred was a farmer and carpenter. He was also a brick layer.

Alfred hosted a special 4th of July tradition for the community at their farm. The pits were dug before time, then the afternoon of the 3rd the fires were built and the pigs put on to roast over night.

Alfred died on May 23, 1926. He is buried in Elkmont, Alabama.
