Alfred "Jake" Otto Elliott, 94, of Beallsville, died Monday, July 14, 1997, in Washington County Health Center.
He was born November 11, 1902, in Beallsville, a son of Jesse and Cora Brown Elliott.
Mr. Elliott worked for Peoples Natural Gas Co., retiring in 1966. He was a member of the former Beallsville Presbyterian Church and most recently a member of Bentleyville Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Elliott was a member of the former Beallsville IOOF Lodge, a member of Brownsville IOOF 51 and a member of Odd Fellows for 71 years.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah Crumrine Elliott; two stepdaughters, Faye Miles and Sandra Walker, both of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, David Elliott of Scenery Hill; four sisters, Alfleda Fields and Ruth Amos of Washington, Eva Smith of Turtle Creek and Edna Snyder of California; three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Decease are two brothers, Joseph and Paul Elliott; and three sisters, Margaret Hess, Jane Gaskill and Rilma Elliott.
